Speed Dating Tips and Advice

1. Don't try to impress. If you try too hard you will look unnatural and could come off as a "fake". Or it could back-fire and the other person might think you're too good, smart, ect.
2. Be prepared. What questions are you going to ask? What is important to you? How are you going to answer your questions? Maybe practice this with a friend.
3. Be comfortable. give yourself plenty of time to get ready. Wear clothing that looks good but also that your comfortable in. Nothings worse than pulling to tugging at your clothes or walking funny because your sexiest shoes are killing your feet.
4. Be confident. Confidence is very attractive.... even if your feeling a little nervous... act confident!
5. Have a positive attitude. Be upbeat and happy to be there and you definitely will have fun.
6. Have an open mind. As soon as you look around don't start assuming that you aren't going to like anyone. Talk to everyone openly even if you don't find a love interest... you might just find a new best friend.
7. Keep dating cards out of site. No one needs to see who you are interested in. Be polite and treat everyone as you will want treated.
8. Introduce yourself by answering a few questions you know are coming...something like "Hi, I am Rhonda. I live in Clarksville, I have two teenage children and I am a nurse. This can save time for the more interesting questions as well as be a good lead or ice-breaker.
9. Don't have too many drinks. I know it's a lot easier to loosen up but you might come off as a bigger drinker that you are... besides you do have to drive home.
